Boats

Sorry - I'm still working on this page!  Look for this page to be completed soon!

What would barefoot waterskiing be without boats?!  Of course, not just any boat will do, although a suitable
tow boat does not have to be ABC approved and cost $45,000.  In fact, the idea behind this page is not to
focus solely on tournament barefoot boats (although they are important), but to also include recreational
boats that are suitable for barefooting.  Information on boats that are no longer manufactured are also
welcomed since many barefoot waterskiers are looking for a used boat.  In fact, I would contend that some
of the best barefoot boats are no longer available (e.g. Barefoot Nautique, Australian Flightcraft).

If you have a boat and want to tell us how suitable it is for barefooting, please tell us and we'll post your
review on this page.  Make sure you include as much information about the boat as possible:  The boat
manufacturer, model, year, engine, prop, handling with/without a boom, wake characteristics at 75 feet, top
speed with a barefoot skier, etc.  A picture or two of the boat and wake would be great as well.
