Hey Brent...I'm definitely a little envious. We have been having a tough winter up here in VA and have not really done any skiing locally since October. We normally can ski short sets all winter (wind permitting) if we make the drive to the warm side of Lake Anna (2+ hrs). It is heated by a nuke plant and the water is usually no colder than 50/55 even in January. This winter we have not had an air temp above 32 for what seems like 2 months so we have only been there once! Of course I am one of the lucky ones that gets to ski in sunny FL all winter with Scarpa when I'm there for work. I usually ski a set or two every other Monday AM when I'm down. I sure notice the difference in my skiing since I can stay "current" all year. To answer your original question...we usually ski in drysuits in April/May/sometimes June and wetsuits until Sept/Oct. here in Northern VA.
